independence? NAIPC seeks a visionary Chief Fundraising Officer to join our mission
and propel our impact to new levels!

Position
Chief Fundraising Officer – National Aging in Place Council (NAIPC)

  • Hours: 4 - 10 hours per month
  • Location: Remote
  • Volunteer position: Non-paid position

NAIPC’s mission is to bring professionals and communities together to champion Aging
in Place through collaboration, education, and advocacy.

Role
As Chief Fundraising Officer, you'll be crafting and executing strategic fundraising
initiatives that fuel our programs and educational goals. You will help us secure the
resources needed to make our vision a reality.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy: Identify diverse
    funding sources, create compelling proposals, and secure major gifts from individuals,
    foundations, and corporations
  • Build and nurture donor relationships: Cultivate connections with potential and
    existing donors, stewarding their generosity, and ensuring long-term partnerships
  • Manage and analyze fundraising data: Track campaign performance, measure
    ROI, and make data-driven decisions to optimize fundraising efforts
  • Collaborate with leadership: Align fundraising initiatives with the organization's
    strategic goals and ensure program sustainability
  • Become a voice for the National Aging in Place Foundation: Represent the organization at fundraising events, conferences, and other strategic gatherings, as appropriate

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of success in fundraising: Demonstrated experience in
    securing major gifts, managing diverse funding sources, and exceeding fundraising
    goals
  • Preference for individuals who have an extensive network in the industry
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills: Ability to build trust, motivate teams,
    and cultivate lasting relationships with donors and stakeholders
  • Strategic thinking and analytical skills: Expertise in developing and implementing
    effective fundraising strategies, analyzing data, and making informed decisions
  • Experience in writing grant proposals, press releases, and fundraising letters
  • Passion for NAIPC’s mission
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills: Ability to craft compelling
    proposals, presentations, and donor communications
